The 4.75% save up sale ends tomorrow. Are you transferring your funds out to another account?

I may close the account at some point, but not in the short term. My issue with ING is that they require snail mail in order to link the accounts, and then when yuo do transfer funds, it takes a few days to get the cah into your linked account. Too much hassle, imo. I had a tax refund and a bonus check from work that did NOT get transferred to ING because I never linked my new checking account and it's such a hassle.

you can link ONE account online, all other checking accounts have to be added via snail mail which could take a couple weeks.

Is there somewhere else that offers a higher rate?

ING is currently at 4.0% after the special sale event runs out. Emigrant direct was at 4.5% regular and HSBC is at 4.25 (but is expected to raise as soon as their 4.8% promo runs out at the end of April - YMMV).

I have an ING account for my daughter and I decided to throw her money into a 12 month 5% ING CD. Solid rates for one year and I'm not expecting much more than 5% over the short run (unless gas prices kick up enough inflation to spur more Fed hikes).
