Information Science or Urban Planning, or something else? Which should I get a degree in?

Well after many many months of searching for a job in the computer field it's clear to me that my Aas in Cis (Computer information systems) is not very useful. I've talked with my wife and I'm thinking the best bet is to go back to school and get a bachelors in something else that interests me. SUNY offers 2 programs that interest me but I'm wary of my chances of getting a job after getting a degree in one of these.
Does anyone work in information sciences or urban planning?
How hard was it to get a job? Do they want a lot of experience? What do you do at your job? Am I wasting my time to go into this and should try something else like the school of business?
Any help I can get I appreciate it.

Here's links to the 2 undergraduate programs:
Info Science
Urban Planning

But I'd get all wrinkled! :p

As for nanotech they are building some kind of tech center chip thing but I think it's a couple of years away and I don't know I could handle the math required for it. :/
