Saw this on Redmond Pie and thought it was mighty interesting.

It shows a linear growth for iOS, but an exponential growth for Android.

What is better in a business perspective?
Linear growth or Exponential growth?

I am guessing exponential grow.

I'm not sure how you're getting linear growth for iOS. Both are exponential (At least as far as phones go, as there's no real data for iPod touches, although considering overall sales are declining it's probably either not exponential or ceased to be some time ago, and there's not enough data to accurately evaluate iPad growth at this point.) although Android at a much larger rate.

And yes, exponential growth is generally preferred.
