Infocus X2 - Is it good for multimedia presentation?

I have been looking for a projector to use for multimedia presentations that I do because I looked into renting and I will pay for an X2 after 4 rentals. I can pick it up new for $690 and want to know if it is a good option. I like the lumens over others because I might not always be able to have real dark conditions.

Any opinions on this projector or other options would be appreciated.

I really like my 4805 projector for movies, but an X1/X2 designed for presentation work would probably be a better bet for you if this is really for work.

Projectorcentral is down for me right now, but you can look up some info and probably some user opinions if you want to check that out.

Also, go to AVSforum and try to find a big thread on the model and see what people have to say.

I just watched a movie on my x1 last night and loved it.
I've also used the X1 as a second monitor, and it worked great for that.

Not exactly positive about the difference between the models.
