Info:Possible some Kingmax ddr400 being recalled

Just a warning for those of you using this ram. I saw no mention of this on the kingmax china or TW site, only found it on the AU site. It refers to MPXB62D-68KX3 (DDR400) revision PD-6820 and some PD-6821

I have an email into the RMA department now, if anyone is interested in what they say I'll post it here.

thats a good point pillage....

kingmax runs great on AMD systems, but not P4
those sticks i sold you (in feb?) run much better on your system then it did on mine.

Why did Kingmax recall those RAM?? Are they causing any stability problems known to others out there?? I have two sticks and they are the ones which are to be recalled. I'm not having any problems with it though. It's running perfectly fine with the most aggressive timings.

Not too sure when did I get those sticks from ya.

pillage ~ i think the problem is that the DDR400 cant run DDR400 on most P4 systems. lots of pissed off P4 ppl.

You sold me DDR333 sticks with 5ns RAM. I'm not even breaking 300Mhz with my o/c so it doesn't really matter for now.
