When people ridicule Californians for being "hippy dippy", they are thinking of Mill Valley.
Mill Valley had a KFC that was selling bags of weed if you ordered the "extra Biscuit" 😉 😉.
In order to get to Mill Valley, you must be in Marin County. In order to get to Marin County, you must cross the Golden Gate Bridge. In order to get to SF, you must take the Ferry or pay the $5.00 toll for the GGbridge.
The Mill Valley Website Home page.....
I like the notation next to "Government" says Anarchy is only an apperance. 😛

It's a nice, fairly typical Marin county town. That means, high property prices, population divided between working business people in their thirties and forties and aging retired folks who've lived there forever and don't want to move. Pretty busy little spot, IMO but then I come from a slow little town north of there.

It is a very pretty little town, right at the base of Mount Tamalpais. I have spent hundreds of hours riding road and mountain bikes in and around Mill Valley. It is a beautiful area IMO.

I live about a 5 minute drive from Mill Valley. Never really spent much time there, but I know it's a nice place. PM me if you want more info.
