Most other countries don't have the same access to broadband that the US enjoys, so ISDN may have been a good option. but in California, it's probably a waste. Pay the extra few bucks/mo and get DSL or cable. Even on capped lines, your upstream will be 128, the same as dual-channel ISDN, but your downstream should be at least 2-3 times faster, and in most cases, at least 4-5 times faster than 128k ISDN.
