The Bytecc USB 2.0 to IDE adaper cable (BT-200) is just a repackaged Syba which can always be had for less - even Newegg's "One Day Sale" price w/ free shipping can be beat by buying a Syba at normal price and shipping.
Syba also has a SATA to USB adapter cable. Couple this with the Syba IDE to SATA converter and you can use any drive you run across as an external USB device. Cool beanz! (but perhaps only to an inveterate techie...)
