MSI 848P Neo

thats the board as he puts it....
think there might be a typo...

could somebody please rate it...

dont think it is so much of whether he liked it.... wants to get rid of it with the processor to p4 2.8... its a $ thing

Here are the specs on it. Not the best chipset IMHO. Try to get a board with the 865 or 875 chipset, you'll be better off. Just my 2 cents

Okay, if you're an overclocker, that board would give you a decent start, assuming it's quite cheap (~$40). It's got the i848 chipset, which is just the i845 chipset, modded to accept 200mhz fsb cpu's. It will overclock okay, assuming it's got decent overclocking options in the bios. But, most MSI boards have hardly any overclocking options. If you aren't going to be overclocking at all, it will be just fine for you.
