Info on 17" LCD AVIDAV M1731D-F

About to pull the trigger on the Avidav 17" lcd. But I am not sure about the panel. Is this a 6 or 8 bit panel? Also NewEgg says 16ms but the Jetway-Avidav site says 12ms?

For $220 shipped at Zipzoomfly I could not find a 17" LCD with DVI for cheaper.
