iVTEC I4 motors are from honda's newer K series motors (TSX, RSX, CRV, element, accord), so the civic will almost certainly get a variant of this motor, probably RSX derived since the chassis are related. This actually already exists in Asian markets, where the civic makes 155 HP and has a 5AT. The current US market civic uses D series motors, which is ~15 year old family.
