My crucial pc2700 engineer sample

my kingmax pc2400 still use the pc2100 module, look like they only did a test and make it pc2400 if the ram past over 150 fsb, and also it's look cool kingmax use -5ns ram... the crucial onlu use -6ns ram

dude! you are crystal orb happy ;)

sandra dont tell me squat - Bank1 DIMM Sycnronous DRAM 256mb/64
bank2 says the same thing. lemme back the system down to stock speeds and see if it tells me more.

BTW: did you know that a 21cfm fan from a golden orb fits perfectly in a crystal orb? 21cfm crystal orb! i use one on my gf3ti5 ;)

that's fine.. actually i run my ram with manual setting ( not in spd ), may be because my sisoft 2002 is registered one :)

well, here are the SPD cas settings anyways. lowering them @ 166mhz crashes, or just plain does not help on my system.

100mhz = 2-2-2-5
133mhz = 2-3-3-6
166mhz = 2.5-4-4-7

Just got mine in from Newegg...it's got -05 chips on it! :) I was reading the extensive threads about this on the overclockers.com forums, and it seems like the early batches were the 7.5ns stuff. Apparently the stuff is working it's way out of the system...sort of like the early Epox 8KHA+ boards with faulty bios chips. When I was going to order from Newegg last week, they were out of stock so I did the "Auto-Notify" thing. I probably got mine from a fresh shipment they just got in. That's one reason why I like dealing with Newegg, they move a lot of product so they don't usually have older stuff just sitting around. :)

FWIW - I called Kingmax tech support and they told me all the DDR333 RAM is 5ns. There is no other according to them.

I live about 5 minutes from Konmax in Arcadia, CA so I drove there and looked at their Kingmax RAM. The chips say "-05" on them so I bought 2 sticks ($93 x 2 + tax = $201 total). I hope they're 5ns. I'll play with them today.
