Info for those using the JCPenny 30% off coupon

Last night I went to my local JCPenny because there was a sofa on their website that I liked so I wanted to test it out before I bought it. When I got there they did not have the sofa and told me that the majority of things on their website are in their catalog and NOT in the store. They said that I could order the sofa and have it delivered there to try it out to see if I liked it. I told them that I had a 30% off coupon for use on their website and asked if they would honor it at the store. After a short phone call to Customer Service the salesperson told me that they would honor the 30% off coupon at the store. He also told me that if I applied for a JC Penny credit card that I would recieve an additional 10% off of my purchase. So for anyone else that wants to try this I just wanted to let you know that it does work at the JCPenny B&M... Also the Coupon Code that I gave them was VIP2 that I got from this forum. So thank you to whom ever it was that posted that deal. It helped me out a lot.

I'm not sure when the code expires but as of las night it still worked... But 30% off of a $1,700 sofa is pretty sweet...
