Infinity refrance Components or Alpine Type R Components?

Anyone know anything about these two? They're about equal in price..would you recommend one or the other?

actually the Type R subs from alpine are decent....they arent made for SPL but they have some decent SQ to em. If i were to get components and i was on a budget i would stick with CDT Audio or Crystal

A buddy ordered a set of the Type R's after giving them a thorough listen. He said they sounded good. He's coming off a pair of SoundStream SPL-60's, which personally I thought sounded excellent (I have SPL-50's in my car).

He thinks the Type R's sound good compared to the SPL-60's. Not sure how much that helps you.
