Infinity Bookshelf Speaker (PRIMUS 150) $29.99/each AR @ Circuit City

The instant discount is actually $40. $99.99 - $40 -$30 MIR = $29.99. The product page does say "you save $30", but if you click "see sale price in cart", it shows $40 off. Nice find OP.

Hmmm, 99.99 - 30 - 30 = 39.99

Still a decent deal but I'll wait for outpost.com to have the $40 Polk R15 pair again...

Updated post. It's a $40IS not $30. 🙂

The rebate says only good for online purchases. What about purchasing online but doing instore pickup?

Purchasing online for instore pickup should be fine. You can print out the the web invoice/receipt from Circuit City and submit that along with the rebate form.

The email has a link to the rebate, so it looks like it is good. This was purchased at Circuitcity.com, not a store.

I got this yesterday. The sound quality is really good. While I'm using this for my center channel, which is why buying one was good for me, it might not be ideal for other people. It is bigger than most center channel speakers, being about 10" deep. It is a true bookshelf speaker. It works for me because I like to move my center channel speaker depending on what I am watching. I can move it to below my projector screen, or next to my regular TV. This thing has some weight to it, which is usually a good sign with speakers. It works for me.

The main thing keeping this from a real hot deal is the one rebate per customer stipulation. Perhaps you can get around this by two different people purchasing one each.

Update: It does say one per customer, not one rebate per household. So there might be ways to get two. These would be a good upgrade to people using tiny satellites for their front left and right surround speakers.
