Infiniti G35 vs. Acura TL-S (vs. Lexus GS300)???

Ok, so we've all seen the pics and I for one think the Infiniti is a much nicer lookin' car than the Acura TL. So now we have three V6-powered Japanese sports sedans to compare from Infiniti, Acura and Lexus. While the Lex and the Ac have been around the block, the Infiniti is a relative newcomer (closest Infiniti's had in that segment was the ill-fated J30.)

How do you guys think these will compare??? The Acura and Infiniti definately beat Lexus on pricing, but what about expected performance (GS300 has smallest engine??)

<< G35: Rear-wheel drive, 260hp, with 6-speed coming later in the year. You don't need anything more. I'm sold. >>

Ya, the G35 will be a winner...pop out dvd navigation looks pimp. BMW has a lot to learn...but I really like they way bmw 330i drives.

I'd say the best car would be the one you enjoy driving the most 🙂

Anyway, for comparison:

G35 - 260hp/torque, 4door RWD sports sedan, Most advanced suspension system among the three, same weight segment, 6sp coming later this year. If Nissan "jumbles it up" you're probably going to end up with more torque than advertised.

CL-S - 260hp, lesser torque. 2 door FWD sports coupe,, same weight segment. 6spd is on it's way.

GS300 - 220hp/torque, 4door (FWD?), heftier than the two above. I don't think this even comes with a 6spd. The 430 seems like a better alternative on a strictly power-only scale.

I would probably have to drive all 3 before making any buying decisions, but the G35 does look pretty sweet from what I have seen.

The BMW 330i offers 225hp 3.0 inline-6, RWD, and a 5-speed. Its MSRP is $33,990. The G35's MSRP will be in the $26-$28K range with arguably better build quality.

G35 is what 330i should have been and for less.
It does have an Civicky rear end that I can't say I approve, but hey, it's a Nissan, so you have to look past the booty 🙂

The TL is US built and has the build quality to show it. Doesn't handle as well as a rear wheel drive car.

I think the G35 is the best of these 3.

Are all TL(s) built in the US?, i thought all Acura's were imported from Japan, and only the hondas were made in the US.
