I have tried everything to keep my pc from locking up. I pratically built a whole new pc in the end to fix the freezing problem. When i play bf2 i lock up, it could be in a few minutes when i started or a few hours then it would go into a infinite loop. I would lock up and i can hear noise looping and a few seconds later i could hear the sound changes to something else. After about a minute my pc rebootes it self. I had a aspire qpack (sff) then i thought it was a heat problem so i bought a full tower case. After that it still kept freezing so i was thinking it was my psu so i went to the store and bought a allied psu 500wat. It was still freezing and then i bought a new hd and only put bf2 on it. And once again it was still freezing. Iam kinda pissed off right now and dont know what to do. People in other forums told me i should turn off hardware acceleration but i dont want to lose performance. I have tried many drivers for my vid card and right now i have the 81.82. I currently own a amd 64 3200+, 7800gt, 512 x2 corsair value select and 2 generic sticks 512 x2 which would equal to 2gb. I have a zalman heatsink on my cpu and the cpu usually gets up to 62c on load which i think is normal. I have as5 on my vid card and cpu. As i said before heat is not a issue since i have a case that has 3fans. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811182563 this is my case.
