Yes this is a well known brand of memory. It is along the lines of Crucial or Mushkin ram IMO. I am using two 128mb sticks of Infineon and it is great.

Infineon is Siemons... The company spun off their memory division to Infineon... So, yes, it is a good brand...

Do you know what the warranty is like?..Also..is there a such thing as OEM ram and if so..what would you recommend..OEM or Retail. And if you had a choice between Infineon and Micron..which one of the two would you go with.

Thx to the both of you for your quick response :)

I do go with OEM Ram, but I've found a vendor that gives a lifetime guaratee on the RAM too...

It doesn't matter the manufacturer of the chips, Micron, Siemens... Siemens and Micron aren't the ones providing the warranty its the reseller or manufacturer of the Dimm module who will provide a warranty on the memory... Crucial, and Muskin I believe both provide lifetime warranties... but their are kind of on the pricey side compared to others...

I use a vendor that now advertises on Pricewatch called Upgradeplanet, they used to be Memory Plus, and are still at all the computer shows in our area. They have a lifetime warranty on all their RAM. So, I buy my RAM from them.
