pretty solid 3rd person game, IMO, especially since it seems there are few are far between for the PC. Great graphics, fun gameplay, and lots of neat little things. Cover fire system isn't bad, although it's a little tricky, and the extra powers you get are fun to play with (if you get to the second level, use the AK47's "infernal attack"... smiles abound :D:D)

As with all things though these days.. gotta wait for a review :( I hope the game is as fun as the demo:thumbsup:

The voices were awful and after Vegas and Gears of War I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to cover. The cover system in Infernal isn't so hot. Seems its just walls and wood crates but not other stuff which is too bad. It does look very nice, plays well and controls well too. Pretty good effort by the dev. I'll keep my eye out for this game.

I played the demo and thought that it was pretty awesome, although there are some flaws. I haven't played R6 or Gears, so the cover system in Infernal doesn't seem too bad to me. The voices ARE awful, but the graphics are very polished and look really nice. The controls are intuitive, the AI are OK, and the idea behind the game is very intriguing. I thoroughly enjoyed the demo.

By the way, has anyone heard ANY news about this game? Is it still being developed, has it been abandoned, is there any previews or articles about it?

i didn't think the voices were too bad... "the boss" sucked, you are right.. but lennox sounds like jason statham IMO... and jason statham = the man:thumbsup:

Marked.

Wish I would've started this download coming to school for a few hours so that it'd be done when I get back. It looks good enough to try out! Thanks

Oh yeah fenix... I haven't forgot about playing GW with you it's just that I have so little gaming time when in school. It was great to be on break for three weeks and play GW for a few hours a day. Hopefully I'll be able to get on there some more in the coming months to get my guy to level 20.

edit: There are other places that have the demo available for HTTP download as well, but I found gameupdates.org torrent to have an excellent download speed (100-150+ k/s which I rarely get on my connection with HTTP downloads).

Wow... I am pleasantly surprised with this game. It's nice to play a 3rd person action game on the PC. Good job by the devs.

Graphics are great and it runs perfect (widescreen support too), enemy AI is fairly easy on Normal but I haven't finished the demo yet. The pistol and throwing stars are cool, so I suspect other weapons will be good.

And yeah, I don't get the cover system. It doesn't seem to work at all. Also, when I was on the ledge and it said you can peek around left or right, it never seemed to work or do anything. Pressing ALT doesn't ever seem to put me under cover anywhere.

If they could fix up the cover system... that would really help. It's nice to see a new, fairly unique game. And the whole package seems VERY polished. The only bug I noticed was I got stuck for a couple of seconds on some cabinet doors I opened and had to roll away from them.

This was the first game I've played that uses the AEGIA PhysX engine and it's done pretty well. I'm not sure what the actual physX PPU card could do (not that I'd buy that thing anyway! way too much money when a GPU is much more important), but doing the physX engine in software worked well enough it seems.

So again, I found it great. Worth a download for sure. Looking forward to this one. In April according to Gamespot.

1st level? you need to find security cards on monk's bodies, or teleport past the 1 scanner and use the nearby console.

I stopped at the teleport part. I didn't realize you teleported back after a couple seconds. When I tried again I couldn't activate the console in time before I got teleported back. But I had to stop playing to work on some stuff.
