Infernal Affairs *SPOILERS?*

For those of you who have seen this movie and have the DVD, I'd like to know what the alternate ending is. I bought the DVD and loaded the alternate ending version. I fast forward to the end and it's THE SAME EXACT THING as the Hong Kong theatrical version. This sucks. :frown:

i got the spy game dvd and the alternate ending was a slightly different edit of the first ending.

if its an alternate ending i want one of those where they actually make completely different endings to keep the gossipers

in the alternate China ending, the guy who was the bad-cop dies instead of the undercover cop....
thats it.

In the alternate ending, Andy Lau gets hand-cuffed at the end... In the original theatrical release, you see him attend Tony Leung and Superintendent Wong's funerals.

Edit: I should be a bit more specific... In the alternate ending Andy Lau gets hand-cuffed right after coming out of the elevator at the end.

Ah, got it. I had to manually fast forward. The first time, I hit chapter select on the remote. Not much of an alternate ending but still a great movie.

I thought it was going to be something big and dramatic. $20 for a 5 second change.
