Hello Everyone,
I am the proud owner of a 1995 Honda Accord EX Coupe and have a few things I would like to work on but need some guidance, if anyone is willing to give me some.
First off, My A/C only blows air the temperature of the air outside. I have attempted recharging the freon, but have discovered a leak. I have read some of the other threads about A/C work costing upwards of $1K, and am wondering if this would be grounds for compressor replacement, etc?
Next, I have an oil leak that seems to be based out of my oil pan as a result of an old friend who bottomed out in her. I have a new oil pan, and a new seal, but how extensive would it be to do the work on my own? Or how expensive would it be to take it to the shop and just have the labor done, provided they were willing to use the parts I already purchased?
And lastly, the same kind of process as the above, but with the breaks. I have replaced my break pads in the past, but as of late there is an infrequent screeching sound coming from my front left hub. I went out and purchased 4 new rotors, and 4 new wheel bearings, but couldnt do the work myself as the rotors on my '95 seem to be pressed on. Could anyone give me an estimate as to how much (realistically speaking) this job would cost to do, providing the mechanic were willing to use the parts previously purchased?
I appreciate all of the feedback. Anything helps! Thank you.
