Inexpensive Sound card with RCA audio ports?

Hi, I would like to know if there are any decent sound cards out there that are pci-1x or pci that have audio left and right channel RCA's.

Does it need to be RCA directly for some reason?

You can get an adapter for RCA to 1/8" and then run that to any soundcard you want.

You can get one with RCA output though if you want.

anyway, if you don't want the cabling you can get one of these.

just know that you can't put 3 of these side by side on most cards....so if you are eventually gonna do 5.1 analog out you might want to favor something with a cable.

RCA-only sound cards are rather expensive...cheaper to just get a card with a digital out, since I'm guessing your running it to a receiver as opposed to powered monitors.

Recievers are expensive option if you do not have one and the cheap ones (Less than $350) always have a low quality DAC compaired to a decent sound card. A sound card is the cheaper solution.

well, the thing is. My preamp already has 1/8 audio outs. I just do not want to use them that is all. I wanted to get a card that just had the RCA's but I guess they are too much... thanks anyway.

Have you thought about running digital to your preamp?

I know emu has some cards with rca output. I don't know if the cheaper ones have that or not.
