I bought a PCI-E sound card, went to install it today only to find that my one PCI-E x1 slot is beneath my dual-slot video card!:thumbsdown:

Can't return the sound card, I bought it too long ago and waited too long to install it :(

Motherboard I have is a BIOSTAR TH67+.

Main computer in my signature is the one in question...

Thanks for any help!

This looks like a nice board, and would allow me to upgrade to a 2500k in the future, but I wouldn't classify it as inexpensive....

You should be able to plug the sound card in to the second PCI-E x16 slot if it isn't being used already
