Inexpensive DVI card?

3D is NOT required here. All I need is a nice 2D video card with DVI output (We're programmers). It's for work, and the CHEAP phux don't want to spend monney.

I just need to know if there are any good cards for around <$50 that can be had?

Aren't Matrox cards really good in this area?

Thanks

Leadtek = BEST 2D quality, but for the price range, I believe you'll be quite satisfied with the card link i've provided, Albatron makes decent cards. And the nvidia card has better: memory (samsung), speed, and memory bandwidth, all for a few bucks more. The cheapest Leadtek card with a DVI input I could find was for $93 dollars.

The mx440, simply because the quality of parts used is better. You just get more for what you pay for, although I believe the card with samsung ram was sold out last time I checked.

If you're running on true DVI, all that 2D quality discussion is rather completely moot. It's digital, there is no possibility for loss of pixel edge sharpness or color accuracy.

Ye olde Radeon 7000 will serve you well, and you'll like its fanlessness. However, much more current 9200SE cards are only a few bucks more.
