Hi,
I have an older Abit BH6 system with a 900 mhz OCed system. I am looking for a cheap video card that does quality TV out. It must work with Windows XP. My old STB Velocity 4400 is not supported for tv out in Win XP. I tried TVtools, but using it seems to corrupt files and causes occasional reboots. This machine is not used for gaming but is mainly used for DIVX to TV playback.
I would appreciate suggestions from anyone on their experiences with their TV out cards.

Search Newegg for "RADEON 7000 32MB SDR W/TV OUT BULK " and you should find the SapphireTech card for $34.

The RV100 core doesn't have hardware T&L, but it does have ATi's "Video Immersion" (motion compensation, iDCT, and an adaptive per pixel de-interlacing process) technology.

i think that the radeon 9000 (you can alsoget a pro for a small increase in price) has better quality than the 7000's
