About to move my mce machine from 2005 to vista, looking to move to a new fairly cheap card which hopefully has hdcp support and will work well with vista. I was considering an x1950 gt as its fairly cheap, more then powerful enough and lists hdcp as a feature (though I know some cards that list hdcp don't actually include the keys so...). However I have seen some things suggesting that the x1950gt has no driver support in vista (7.2 doesn't work and apparently 7.3 leads to blue screens). So any suggestions would be appreciated? Also has anyone had experience with an x1950 pro in vista, I dont need the extra clock speed over the gt but if the drivers will work then the couple of dollar difference is not a big deal.

yes to get the benefit of hdcp you need a capable display as well (without hdcp you cannot play hd-dvd's or blue ray through dvi/hdmi, though you can connect vga till at least 2010).
