Have an older computer and just bought a 20.1 Sceptre. Use it with a Gigabyte Radeon 9250. Have another older computer that doesn't have DVI so I need to get a card for it. I don't game and just surf and look my pictures I have taken and stored on the machines. ok, maybe a leettle porn once a great while. That sorta thing.
Is there much difference in picture quality in these older AGP cards? Do the nVidia cards have a better rep that the ATI? Should I just get another 9250? for what I use them for is there any reason to think I could get better picture from something else? don't want to spend much as I do want to replace these machines some day.
thanks for any suggestions.

You might upgrade to something with the SM3 path eventually, but if all you're doing is pics and movies a 9250 is fine. Visual quality between ATI and NVIDA for those purposes are little to none.
