I am using Win2000, and I found recently my CPU is always 100% employed while I was doing nothing. The result is a process named inetinfo.exe is using something between 76% - 99% of all CPU time, and I can't see it is doing something. What's more, I can not kill this process at all. Rebooting will solve the problem, and reduce the inetinfo.exe 's CPU usage to 1 - 2%, but after using for some time, the CPU is fully harnessed again. Anyone has some idea about how to solve it? Thanks a lot!

I have tried to go to control panel-> services-> Admin tools, and tried to stop inetinfo.exe, but failed!--I can not stop it at all. :(

Check your network traffic also. It could be a virus.

That sounds very symptomatic of the Code Red worm
