iNET connection drops when screensave on?

I have a cable modem, and i am finding that when I go to work in the morning, my screensaver in winxp kicks on during the day. When I get home, and get back into windows, it all of a sudden will download mail (outlook 2003), and my bitcomet torret program will again resume downloads. Why is XP stopping the transers and programs when screensaver is on?
 
Probably because you have your NIC set to enter power save mode. Disable that and you'll probably solve the problem.
Just a dumb guess though 😉
