Inept Coworkers

I'm privileged enough to work with someone who makes Robin Williams look stable and Dan Quail look like a Mensa member. Does anyone have any comics or pictures or anything that relate to such situations and might give me a moment of levity? Thanks.

Welcome to the 90s. Workers these days don't know what's going on.

I think it's more "Welcome to employers who don't have the cahones to weed out the inept." But, such is life...

Anyhow, I'm not fishing for sympathy, as there are many who share my plight, only a good laugh...

You'll find that employers simply don't weed out inept coworkers because it's a hassel. To fully protect themselves from lawsuits, they have to use tools like performance reviews and document everything fully. Then, they have to prove why the employee is getting canned. Most workplaces only do performance reviews quarterly or semi-annually. Best thing to do is find that inner-peace and stick it out. You can always express your concerns to your boss, but you have to have a good relationship with them for it to work effectively.

i think the problem lies in the fact that geeks like me have a somewhat problem with breeding.

...like it doesn't happen.

so how are we to save the glorious genetics that would save the human race from ineptitude?

beer.

True, True.

Its not a big deal, as this person's performance has very little impact on myself, but more of an annoyance...like a mosquito or a rock in one's shoe...
