If you haven't heard of it, there's a company that picks an indie game monthly and sells a version of it with physical items for it made for the game by them.

I like the idea.

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten too excited about the actual product. The games they've picked usually aren't favorites, and the items haven't gotten me that excited (though they're a mystery until it ships).

I made one exception and bought it for a favorite game, Stanley Parable.

Right not they have an 'extended labor day sale' of previous games and other items through tomorrow.

For example, the game 'forced: showdown' that looks kind of fun is on sale from regular $49.99 down to $14.99. While it's been on sale just as a digital game for $7.99, that could be ok - but shipping is $10.

So it's paying $25 for a game that is usually $20 but $8 when on sale. Seems like a good product to know about for a favorite game but not sure for others. They sell monthly subscriptions for these under $30/month.

They also sell some other items, like socks with video game art.

And they have a discount line of 'steelbox' versions sold in gamestop and online I think (in this sale $10 but that $10 shipping).
