Collusion is just the lay umbrella term that contains a multitude of crimes. The Special Counsel would be using things like "conspiracy", "coordination", "aiding and abetting" etc. that relate to that word.

We must be getting close as now the ethics committee has approved a legal defense fund established on behalf of WH staffers. Look at this name Patriot Legal Expense Fund Trust, LLC which tells you that its gonna be great!

Trump is purportedly determined to talk to Mueller.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/06/politics/trump-mueller-interview/index.html

What I think is funny is Biden saying he shouldn't because he's "imprecise" with words. This in my view was an attempt to bait Trump into speaking with Mueller by bruising his fragile ego.

Either way, I agree that Trump shouldn't talk to Mueller. Or at least, I wouldn't if I were him. Fortunately I'm not him.

The implication is extraordinary. People (his lawyers, Republicans, other politicians) are recommending trump not talk to investigators because they think the sitting American president is incapable of not lying.

Let that sink in.

That’s what his followers love about him.
He tells it like it is, facts be damned.

He should have just said, "Obama never spoke with Mueller!"

Apparently Eric Holder said that Trump has a right to plead the fifth during any line of questioning by Mueller, and should use it. Most epic use of reverse psychology ever?

CNN reporting Gates is finalizing a plea deal with Mueller. Prepared to cooperate.

There’s also reports that Bannon spent over 20 hours talking to Mueller.

I’m sure it’s nothing.

20 hours talking to Mueller? That’s cruel & unusual treatment territory

I feel bad for Mueller. He deserves a raise for talking to Bannon that long
You know it occurs to me that after being kicked out of the Whitehouse and Breitbart Bannon may not be a mood to carry the mail for the administration.

So it’s possible that conversation was actually very interesting.

I wonder what gates has to offer when it seems his boss has been singing like a canary for awhile.

absolutely nothing. he's just another low-ranking campaign member. never talked to russians. never even met them, though they're apparently very nice people.

Gates getting flipped is yuuuge. He was the money man. He's sitting on a pile of dirty laundry.

I figure it's very bad for Manafort. It's hard to say what it means beyond that. It might not be good for Wilbur Ross.
