From what I said in another thread. The under oath thing is irrelevant because the FBI will be present. Lying to them is a crime regardless. Trump played that well, he may as well be under oath.

Interview with Mueller:

M: Please state your name for the record.
DJT: Donald James I mean John Trump.
M: What day of the week is it?
DJT: *Leans to lawyer and some muffled whispers happen* Friday.
M: Have you ever been involved with Russia?
DJT: Did you see the map of my electoral win? I won by a landslide. People say it was the biggest landslide victory in history.
M: That didn't answer my question. Have you been involved in any communications or dealing with Russia?
DJT: Did you see what crooked Hillary did with that Uranium One deal? Gave away all of nucular stuff to Russia. Why don't you ask her?
M: That still didn't answer my question.
DJT: Well, there's obviously no collusion and it's ice cream and tweeting time so I'll see myself out. Thank you.

*Counsel looks at each other in that "what the fuck just happened" emotion*

People need to stop giving him any credit for anything he says. His people are already spinning it to walk it back.

Who cares what he says. There’s a long list of what he said he would do but didn’t. This will end up with my lawyers advised me not to and I had to take their advice. But I really really wanted to.
I'm going to quote myself as last night after I posted this Trump apparently qualified his desire to be interviewed with a caveat that it depends on what his lawyers say. Completely predictable and unsurprising in the least.

Trump is simply the world's most astounding bullshit artist.

He really isn't, people are just overthinking it. Its just that most people when encountering his bullshit, like how he'll boldfaced deny something he had already previously confirmed or saying something massively stupid, ends up in like a state of stupefaction that they don't know how to call him on it that he won't just spew more weasel words over. And that lets other idiots that were marginal (as in they used to get called on their bullshit, so they decided to mostly keep their bullshit to themselves), repeat his bullshit (which often tends to be the same bullshit they were spewing) as though it was accepted. And then the others that aren't stupid, but are intentionally trying to fuck things up, run with it, with the idiots acting like its accepted which then makes people calling this latter group out have to waste time calling out the morons as well. Meanwhile everyone else is stuck in a state of "WTF", where some are still discussing Turmp's shit, and others are discussing the second level shit, and then others are discussing the next level, and so on, which fractures offering a concerted front of calling out the bullshit.

We need a concerted effort to hold him accountable for the simplest of lies. Literally not let them say another fucking word til they fess up to that even, and then move onto the next lie and do the same. Go to his press conferences and hold up tablets of him saying something he's now saying the opposite of. Hell, hold mirrors up so he has to look himself in the fucking face while he's doing that shit. Instead we've got this bloated mess of shitheads willing to cover for him, so we need to call all of them out constantly, hold the people actually accountable for the shit, accountable for it.

Just because neither one of us fell for it doesn't change the truth. Trumped bullshitted 63M Americans to become President & still holds many of them in thrall. It's uncanny, almost supernatural. Trump gets a lot of help, no doubt, but they still got chumped by a sketchy New York City real estate developer & reality TV star. There's a lot of propaganda tailored to keeping them that way, too, much of which gets repeated here by a rotating cast of the usual suspects.

The Russians love Trump, of course, if for no other reason that he turns Americans against each other with naked appeals to the worst elements of our national character.

Human Nature is such that most folks want to believe that they have a leg up or inside in against the cruel vagaries of life. Trump is a one man maelstrom that promises "Big Daddy" and "leverage."
It is not your fault.
Better days ahead.
Good old days that you can imagine but not remember will return.
Us vs Them.
Outsiders at the gate!

uh oh, looks like Natalia Veselnitskaya is in trouble with the Swiss for being more than just another Russian lawyer...

https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump...eselnitskaya-exposed-in-swiss-corruption-case

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

The people who lied repeatedly about literally every other aspect of that meeting said nothing came of it though so I don't see how this story means anything. I mean if you can't trust the president and his family who can you trust?
