I wonder if any of those people laughing about how crazy people were for thinking indictments were coming will come back and apologize for being so comically wrong. My guess is no.

I mean the fucking national security adviser is going to prison (or copping a plea to stay out of prison) for lying to the FBI about his dealings with hostile foreign powers. In any other administration this would be a nuclear level event. This one is so corrupt it will be moved on from in a few days after news of even larger corruption emerges.

I'll run point for them. This is a process crime. No big deal. Even though it looks like he is pleading to lying about the content of his conversations with Kislyak, not just that he had talked to him.

Raj Shah, White House spokesman, on news that former Trump national security adviser is being charged with lying to the FBI about contacts he made with Russians while working for Trump: “The White House is not going to respond to this. Ty Cobb will at some point.”

"Mike Flynn was a volunteer to the campaign and played a small role. He participated in a few low level meetings and had no significant authority in the administration."

I'm sure that's going to be the talking point. However, "willfully and knowingly" making "false, fictitious and fraudulent statements" is not a process crime. This is not the same as forgetting to put a checkbox on a form, that's intentionally concealing information in an attempt to deceive.

The charging document states it's about him asking the Russian ambassador to not respond to sanctions. The second was about a UN Security Council vote.

LOL...saw this on Reddit. Sorry if it's been posted before.

And what's the over/under on this triggering a Saturday Night Massacre?

Trump dumps Rex, keeps firing AG's until one dumps Mueller, and so on?

He's not only been charged he is expected to plead guilty today.

I still personally think that Manafort and Kush get pinched. Flynn flips and gets a good deal. Absolutely no clue what happens to El Jefe.

I'd like to reply to my July self and say "not bad". Still have Kush'n for the pushin...

So, Grant and Harding are pretty much off the hook, now. Nixon is the only one standing in Trump's way. lulz.

Ty Cobb. So the admin managed to resurrect the corpse of the most racist, miserable athlete in history to represent them? This is actually pretty cool.

Guess the effort Trump's lawyers went through actually convincing him this would be over by the end of the year was time well spent.
