I like how Papadopoulos’s stated reason for lying to the FBI was that he was trying to keep his story straight with what the Trump administration was saying. Basically that means he’s saying he lied because everyone else was lying too and so they needed to keep their stories straight.

I have a feeling a lot of people will be in jail or pardoned to avoid jail by the end of this. The scope of the lies keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Draining the swamp only works if the alligators and assorted monsters are removed more quickly than they can be replaced. I predict that Trump will break the record in pardons, but given that much of his own party hates him, he probably can't replace them all that quickly.
