How is this News? They have been killing girls born and unborn for as long as I can remember.
The killing's ok, you just have to do it in equal numbers. We don't want all these indians running around without an ability to propogate, chaos might ensue.

This was/is very common in China with their strict policy on the number of children allowed per family. They are easing back on that some now but killing female infants/fetuses was very common when the policy was first instituted.

only bites them in the end, so its self correcting behavior. women end up wielding more power in the end to boot.

I predict an overwhelming leap in homosexual Indian males in about 18 years.

Call to Dell: "Tank you for calling Dell <finger snaps> How may I help you, girlfriend?"

LOL

If you support abortion you should have no problem with Indians killing female fetuses.

Killing babies is a bad thing having responsible sex is a good thing.

Sorry, responsible sex is too boring for me.

Right here is the problem with this country. It is much easier and desirable for people to kill a baby, in exchange for a few minutes of pleasure, than to use birth control.

Abortion because of sex is illegal in India.

So if it's divine conception and you are carrying the next Messiah, go right ahead!

(yes I know the sex above is refering to gender...it's a badly worded statment though)

No, chaos will ensue. What happens when these kids reach high school(or the Indian equivilent of that at least)? Men already do plenty of stupid things for women in equal numbers; imagine what it's going to be like when it's only going to be either you or your buddy that's going to get married. Hell may hath no fury like a woman scorned, but the most dangerous thing in the world is perhaps a sexually frustrated male.:Q

Thank you for your observation. It's clear a lot of thought went into it.

Good. Within a few more generations, China is doomed because of nearly the same thing. Looks like India will suffer the same fate. Not that I think it's good for countries to collapse but when a culture gets that messed up, it is beneficial to society as a whole if it is "reset".

What's the problem? What's the difference between this and having an abortion because you don't want any kids? These people are making their own choice to have an abortion, so isn't it hypocritical to judge them when the entire Pro-Choice movement is based on the idea of, "Who are you to tell me what to do?"

Anyone who is Pro-Choice and disagrees with this Indian practice is a hypocrite.
