So they are singling out the sin of the gay?

Why not ask her if hetero couple comes in for wedding pizza will she ask if they've had premarital sex?

If they say yes will she refuse?

Any other sin a disqualifier?

Anyone take bets she will be on Fox News tonight.

Stupid people are proud of their stupidity. Nothing new here.

My guess is that they are going for, "any publicity is good publicity". One yelp review tells me this probably wasn't a thriving business and this stunt was probably a last ditch effort.

“We're not discriminating against anyone, that's just our belief and anyone has the right to believe in anything,” says O'Connor.

Well at least they're sticking to the stupid

On the other hand, it's better for them to make their intentions clear rather than glazing the pizza with sauce other than tomato for gay people who order them.

I wonder how many fake orders have been called into their pizza shop today. Not only does it have the potential of screwing up their business and losing customers long term, but it has the potential to be very disruptive to their business in the near future. Unless I'm underestimating the mob mentality, they've probably had to switch to pick-up only, and no phone in orders by now, except for customers they know well.

I find it rather interesting the public is successfully regulating this business without the threat of violence the state would need.

I wouldn't want to leave regulations up to the selective nature of internet mobs.

1211 reviews on Yelp since this came out.

Pretty ignorant owners. How the hell do you not spend a couple of dollars to purchase the domain name for your business name?!

:awe:

After I read that page, I literally clapped in a grand and joyous display of approval.
Much like this:

Would you expect a homosexual owned bakery to cater a Westboro Baptist Church protest against homosexual marriage?

As the WBC is a IRS 501c3 religious organization, refusal to cate if the business already does such would be discrimination of a protected group.

If I were Yelp I'd be racing to delete the reviews. Their service is based on integrity, and allowing reviews from people who were never at the business, undermines their integrity. Yelp is a review site, not a social justice battleground. One may praise it today, but question that positive/negative review of a completely separate business tomorrow.

From article
“That lifestyle is something they choose. I choose to be heterosexual. They choose to be homosexual. Why should I be beat over the head to go along with something they choose?” says Kevin O'Connor.

I wonder how his decision making process went.

who orders pizza for weddings? stay classy.

Many pizzerias offer a full-range, usually Italian, menu and catering services.

On that tv show extreme cheapskates they highlighted one cheap couple who had their entire wedding and reception at a local pizzeria.

And yet Yelp hasn't done anything to the user who doxed the daughter nor stopped the on-slot of dick picts.
