Please God don't let them screw this up. Spielberg is directing, though, so I do have confidence.

Yes; nothing would pain me more than this sequel getting screwed up.

It's no worse than 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' or 'Temple of Doom'. They're all equally campy. Remember what people were saying about 'The Phantom Menace'? We all know how that tur.....err, never mind. ;)

I don't like the title. The others seemed to have a bit more pizzaz to them (Temple of doom being the worst name of the originals IMO). The kingdom of the crystal skull though? It is almost like the title is saying "So, India Jones is going to go after a Crystal skull from this place, it will have magic power, the bad guys will want it and try and kill him." The others at least where a bit more vague about what he was going to do.

Shia LaBouef in it means it will suck.

Nope.
Indeed, no idea what xboxist's problem is but here's my take on LaBouef:

1. Disturbia -
2. Transformers -

So he's batting 1000 right now, and I have no reason not to see something just cuz he's in it.

Geez, another Lucas movie title, another bunch of whiners.

I, for one, think its no better or no worse than any of the other titles.

And as for Shia, the only thing I don't like about him is his name. He's a pretty decent actor and (IMO) was the *ONLY* good thing about Transformers.

The title does not seem to promise the inclusion of Nazis. How can you have a really good Indy movie without Nazis? Communists maybe, but Nazis are pure win as a villian.

Hey, what the heck happened to the new Rambo movie?

Scheduled for May 2008.

IMDB says December 2007.

rottentomatoes say 5/25/08...wikipedia seems to be hedging their bets in the middle with 2/2008. Take your pick.

I'm mixed. One one hand, you almost always have a religious theme for any exploration/adventure movie.....it's how you add the whole mysticism element without completely losing people. The Crystal Skull sounds like a departure from this which might end up being very fresh and original.........but, on the other hand, it may prove why it's so seldom done.
