oh.

Well in that case, I actually haven't been to a gym proper in quite a few years, and so I try to avoid the type of people who actively mimic that kind of Bieber shit.
In college, hoodies up was something you saw every now and then at lecture, but it was very very rare unless it was simply cold as hell in the lecture hall/building of choice. Or they were sick/sleeping in the back. Then it was to block light or general to keep warm. Been through all of that myself with hoodies. Don't see it much outside of that environment/age group unless it's sheer douchebaggery. At our age group, we tend to simply dress "convenient" when we don't care about image. Most of us eventually get to the professional appearance when necessary.

People who actually follow that shit though, jesus I hope they burn. I hope I don't run into many of them.

I wear hoodies even during the hottest days of summer to avoid skin cancer on my shaved head and ears. A ball cap only covers so much, and fedoras are too metro/douchey even for me.

Now that it's winter, I have the option of hoodies and knit skullcaps.

The original purpose of Polo shirts was working out. Not like gym type stuff though, but sports and such.

And I've seen plenty of white and black folks doing it too, so its not necessarily a cultural thing.

Polo shirts are sports shirts. Just because fashionistas deemed them fit for the street does not negate their original intent.

I don't know why, only desi's do it (some pakistani's as well). And no undershirt. + Reebok/newbalance shoes and you got yourself a bonafide desi
