Not exactly Indian but you can't go wrong with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (Pakistani).
His best songs include 'Tere Bin Nahin Lagda', 'Dum Mast Kalandar', 'Sano Ek Pal Chain Na Awey (Nothing Without You)' and 'Allah Hu'

Depends entirely on the type of music you want. Strings themselves are good enough and have fantastic albums including the Zindagi song. Then there is Ali Azmat of Junoon with his multitude of albums and lots of famous songs. Both are Pakistanis. Plenty of other artists. You just have to dig them out.

Ofcourse, AR Rehman's (Indian) songs are always recommended.

whatever, beloved patriot.

Yeah, hey, you need a job? Hop in the back. Besides, calling us honkeys doesn't insult us. Calling us honkeys insults hispanics if you know what the whole honkey thing is about. But anyway, whatever.

beloved patriot comes from bohunk and hunky, derogatory terms for Bohemian, Hungarian, and Polish immigrants that came into use around the turn of the century. According to Robert Hendrickson, author of the Encyclopedia of Word and Phrase Origins, black workers in Chicago meat-packing plants picked up the term from white workers and began applying it indiscriminately to all Caucasians.
