So who watched this game? I caugth the end of it! I even set the VCR to tape it from the beginning but unfortunately i selected the wrong line input and just got audio. Fixed it for the last few overs of Sri Lanka's batting.

Anyway, it was a freaking aweseom game! I caught replays of India's batting, but their bowling was much more interesting to watch!

Murali (sp?) put on a good show though, he was pretty entertaining to watch..glad to see both sides had some humour in the game.

Friggin Tendulkar & Sewag & Ganguly kicked ass! apparetnly they were 200-something for 2...insane!

I went curling in Wisconson once...

Lost every end, our skipper was good but we just couldnt get it in the house right..

Nope sorry. Tho' I'm Indian, I was born in America, so I grew up on baseball, and not cricket. I learned all I know about cricket from watching Lagaan. 🙂

Hehe same here. Well I was born in India, but never actually lived there. Spent my childhood in Nigeria and the rest in Canada. But I just got into cricket after going to India in the summer. And especially the WC, its really fun-to-watch games!

Cricket is the only game where you can fully understand the rules and still not know what's going on...

I dunno, I think cricket is really easy to follow. Its NFL thats hard!

Cool, I was wondering who won.

And cricket isn't that hard to follow. I agree, NFL is just plain strange to me.

I have no problem following the NFL, cricket is the weird sport. 🙂

India is on a high right now, I missed today's game (work), but I saw the one against pakistan and it was beautiful.

Cricket isnt that hard to follow at all. Heck I explained it to my friend over AIM in 10 minutes and he understood it.

What's interesting is that the 2007 world cup might have a few games in Florida, the rest being in West Indies. Exciting!

Good then explain it to us!

I saw the entire game and it was just unbelievable. When Tendulkar got out, I was sooooooo disappointed 🙁 Also I thought we should have gotten 20-30 runs more. But I think the bowlers made up for the batting. I knew Sri Lanka would never win against India with that kind of total but man, talk about a one sided game.

YAY India won..

I didnt get to see it.. but I wish I could..
They had a run rate of around 6.. and the fact that SriLanka was slaughtered for 109 all out.. that must have been ever so exciting to watch.... esp. srinath taking wickets in the first few overs..

mmmmmmmm...

India has a shot into winning 2003 World Cup.. 🙂

That topic is weird... why don't you make it "INDIA WHOOPED SRI LANKA'S A$$!!"

As an Indian I have no respect for cricket btw. It is the most horrible thing I have ever had the misfortune of watching.
