So lets suppose they have a war involving the Indian ocean shipping routes. In a land, air and sea combat, which country would come out on top?

These threads seem to be popular these days.

Just curious what you guys think.
 
WTF are you talking about? India vs. Phillipines? That isn't fair at all.

At least make it India vs Japan

or India vs Southeast Asia or something.

Yipee. I love Rise of Nations, the Indians have good commerce in that game.

But the war matchup stands, maybe I'll add another comparison due to popular request.

Phillipines is far to weak. No offense its a nice country.

But India has to face China on the East and the Islamic nations on the west.

Of course their army is far stronger.

Over a million strong, the Indian Paramilitary Forces also forms one of the most formidable and largest paramilitary forces in the world. Combined, the Indian Armed Forces is the second largest armed force in the world.
 
Also from a quick wiki search: india's military military spending is almost 17 times that of the phillipines.
