so does that mean Pakistan won day 1?

No. You don't win a day. One test match has two (or three?) innings that are limited by time. Your goal is to get the other team bowled out in their inning and try to limit their runs. Then its your turn to bat and the opposing team will try to bowl you out within your inning.

And you do this for two or three innings, and if one team manages to bowl out the other team in every inning they win. Also you need to have more runs.

Someone correct me if I"m wrong.

Test cricket is really demanding and stragetic. You have to pace yourself and manage your attack over the course of many days. That said, its usually boring to watch.

Follow my link in my second post for more info about the sport 🙂

Yep, Day 2 about to begin, heres to hoping Sehwag won't act too rash with the ball. That man can turn tides when he's playing his A game.

They dropped Harbhajan because the pitch is seamer friendly and I guess Kumble has seniority when they play only one spinner.

woohoo! score update!
Second day, india batting
at the tea brake, india is 67-0
gambhir 22, sehwag 41
