Index.dat file clearing...

Hello everyone

The index.dat file in your temporary internet file holds a cache of information that can be accessed by third parties when visiting a website. I was wondering if there is a program out there that can clear this?
When I used Millenium on my old system, there was a program called Kiss of the Spider, that would clear this cache...anyone know of one that works with Windows XP?

It is stored in 2 other locations, so clearing one will not help, only make you feel better.

Reboot into safe mode with command prompt. When you're at the command prompt in safe mode type erase index.dat /s Then reboot. That's all.

There is an app that will find them all and then create a .bat file that will be run at startup which will delete them all.
