Hi, I have a Logitech gaming headset connected to my computers front panel which I use for Skype/Teamspeak and a Altec Lansing 2.1 speaker system connected to the motherboard ports in the rear of the chassis which is intended for more casual use. The issue is when I want to use the speakers I'm forced to physically disconnect the headset from the front panel otherwise the speakers don't seem to work and I have had tried configuring win7 audio controls and I have had no success.

I would like to know if there is a way to make my speakers work without physically disconnecting my headphones. also is it possible to have 2 separate volume control sliders for the speakers and the headset in the win7 Taskbar !!

You can go into playback options and disable your headset. Or just set the speakers to the default and enable the headset for use with Skype and Teamspeak. I know both programs can be routed through a non-default audio channel.
