Indash lcd and dvd player? Experiences?

So putting an indash lcd screen and an indash dvd head unit seems to have piqued my interest lately. I have been looking on the mp3playerstore as they seem to have some cheap prices on somewhat decent stuff it looks like. I have been eyeing the innovatek 707L screen, which is the higher res 7" screen, as well as the dvd-392 head unit. These two items bundled together are 306 or 309 dollars. From looking on ebay I can see that head units range quite a bit lower from the ~$130 for the 392. I'm just not sure what to do and want to know peoples opinions and experiences.

Agreed. Besides, I am not really into all that "bling" ICE crap so I am somewhat biased.

I understand the headrest LCD's and DVD if you have kids and they spend lots of time in the car, but other than that its just pointless.

Well I need a head unit to play cd's anyway, I just have a plain old cassette deck in there. And it would just be for passengers, I dont quite feel ready to die yet.
