Incubus concert was =\ (at Irvine)

opening band was pretty stupid, pretty crappy seats (yea i know, my fault) but it was mostly young high school girls and guys (i guess that's true at most concerts, though)

it was way too packed, took about an hour to get out of the parking lot, an hour + to get in, and the set was just okay. They did covers of Grease, Like a Virgin, Roxanne (not bad), some Lionel Richie song, and some 80's song. Brandon Boyd was more there as showoff for the girls, flaunting his body a lot, and the cover songs were catering more to the high school girls out there.

Not too bad, however, just didn't beat my expectations.

what's wrong with incubus? I like a lot of their songs, just this performance wasn't A+

I was there and thought it was great. They put on a good show and I was very impressed with tonight's.

I don't know how you can say that the cover songs they sang catered to the high school girls there because most of them probably weren't even alive when most of them came out.

Anyway, if it took an hour to get in, you got there too late and if it took you an hour to get out, you didn't go the right way.

I felt that the cover songs may have detached them from the main audience that was there (high schoolers) but I enjoy them.

And the opening act was fvcking hilarious.

So, basically, I had the exact opposite night as you.

i had really high expectations, and a lot of us were screaming for s.c.i.e.n.c.e. and pardon me, and they broke out into grease and that 80's song

Well, I had no expectations, so maybe that's why I enjoyed myself.
