Is there a way that I can increase the FSB of a7n8x deluxe 1.04 from the BIOS. I understand that this can be done in Windows, and I am not interested in doing that.

For example, I would like to be able to set my FSB to 167, 168, 169, 170, and so on. CUrrently the only options are 100, 133, 166 and 200.

Instead of 100, 133, 166 etc you're gonna have to select "User Defined" (or whatever your mobo calls it) to get the increamental FSB adjustments.

Post a link to your mobo manual and I'll have a look at it and can tell you specifically where the adj is in your BIOS. In my NF7-S it's under "Softmenu Setup". Likley called something else on your.

Thanks Fern. I will check this out when i get home tonight. I found a page on google that also mentioned the "User Defined" setting in the BIOS.

OK, that worked. There were choices for Optimal, Aggressive, and User Defined settings. I chose User Defined and was then able to adjust the FSB in small increments.
