Again, keep in mind this is IN GAME GRAPHICS. That is not pre-rendered or ANYTHING. its just in game engine with wierd camera angles. You can even see the score sometimes so you can tell its someone actually playing.

EA released screens of NBA Live 2006 today for the 360 and this is how 2K Sports retaliated ... with another trailer putting EA in its place.

Yeah, I know, I wanted to see the other video as well, but couldn't search for and find the thread. I find myself just neffing in a thread to mark it for later reading because the search sucks so bad.

if that is actually someone playing than how the fck can they see their options? you'd have no clue if any of your teammates were open.

i guess you have never messed around with camera angles in these new sports games have you ...

there are some that are no way playable but rather to show off angles and graphics, which this one clearly is. if you have any sports game in the recent gen, when you have a chance, go mess around with the camera angles. they even have camera angles that just continually move.

EDIT: and rogue, click on the home link on the one i posted in the OP, and scroll down the page a lil. you can see the video from a few days ago on there.

dam the graphics on these vids kicks ass. First time I can say graphics on a console is better than the PC version. *goes put down deposit for xbox* j/k, but this does make me want to buy a 360

I would guess that's not in game footage, it's probably part of the intro. However I'd also say that is realtime engine footage. If it was pre-rendered, it's the worst rendering done in years.

Damn. I wonder at which point games will become so realistic that players won't want game developers placing every little detail of their bodies in the game.

When I see the phrase "in game footage" in marketing materials, I take it with a grain of salt. As was pointed out, what good is that camera angle showing the players knees during a game. Also, the lack of any kind of UI containing information leads me to believe otherwise.
