Increasing Wireless Mouse Poll Rate

Does anyone know how to do this. My Mx518(wired) is at 1000hz and works well, I've grown accustomed to it. I just got a Mx Revolution, And it polls 125 regardless of the 1000 configuration of the USB. Is there a way to hack the firmware, or something in SetPoint??
 
Nope, chances are the hardware physically does not support anything higher. Some wired mice can't support 1000Hz or even 500Hz. The only wireless mouse I know of that supports a higher polling rate is the G7 (500Hz by default).
